UTS Law seeks to develop partnerships with external stakeholders to meet the rapidly changing needs of the workforce and to address issues of social justice.
Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and President, and a core member of the University’s Leadership Team, the Dean plays a vital role in university-wide strategy, decision-making and performance. They will provide exceptional academic, strategic, and operational leadership to support the Faculty’s student experience, learning and teaching, research, and engagement outcomes. The next Dean will provide academic leadership to further the mission of the Faculty of Law and University and will inspire, motivate and develop staff to ensure a culture of high performance and engagement. Critical to this role will be a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, and they will demonstrate a successful track record of forming and building relationships with external stakeholders.
The Dean will also have management oversight of UTS’s innovative TD School, leading our unique institution wide commitment to transdisciplinary education and research.
