We seek an experienced Chief Operating Officer to help lead BISJ through an exciting and strategically critical stage in its evolution. This is a unique opportunity to build on the School’s strong foundations and work alongside the Director to realise a compelling vision for BISJ as a beacon school at the forefront of a rapidly changing educational landscape in Saudi Arabia, and to support the delivery of BISJ’s 2030 strategy. Our new Chief Operating Officer will also provide the strategic operational leadership to support this ambition, with a central role in planning and delivering the transition to a new, world-class campus.
The successful candidate will be a strategic and inclusive leader with the commercial judgement and operational expertise to translate ambition into delivery, and the relational skills to inspire confidence across our community. The appointed candidate will bring the cultural sensitivity, political acuity and personal authority to engage effectively with influential stakeholders, external project teams and local authorities. A proven track record of leading complex operations and multidisciplinary teams, together with experience of major capital projects or relocations and the emotional intelligence to manage organisational change, is essential. Above all, our new Chief Operating Officer will demonstrate a genuine commitment to our mission and to ensuring that our people, systems and facilities enable an outstanding education.
