This newly created senior leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of education at Imperial College Business School. As Executive Director of Programmes & Education Quality, you will lead the implementation of the School’s education strategy, ensuring our programmes remain globally competitive, innovative, and operationally excellent. You will be responsible for unifying and optimising Programme and Education Quality operations, reducing complexity, automating processes, and fostering collaboration across teams. The role is pivotal in enhancing faculty and student experience while driving digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Reporting jointly to the Faculty Chief Operating Officer and the Vice Dean (Education), you will oversee the management and continuous improvement of the undergraduate and postgraduate taught portfolio. You will lead high-performing teams to deliver operational excellence, ensuring seamless academic delivery and fostering a culture of service excellence. A key part of your role will be modernising and automating programme operations, introducing scalable and technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, streamline processes, and ensure consistent quality standards across all programmes.
This role also involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the School’s position in the global education landscape. You will work closely with faculty, students, and leadership teams to improve the student experience, support accreditation processes, and maintain the highest academic standards. By championing digital transformation, you will help future-proof the School’s educational offerings and enhance its reputation as a leader in business education.
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic leader with extensive experience in higher education, digital transformation, and programme management. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree (MBA or higher) and a proven track record of leading large, high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. You should have expertise in process automation and digitalisation within education, along with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships. Strong decision-making, organisational skills, and a collaborative leadership style are essential. Experience in accreditation, education policy, and regulatory compliance would be beneficial.
