The Director will provide strategic leadership for the Lab's research agenda, fostering excellence across priority areas in educational innovation and future-focused learning. They will build and support a high-performing, interdisciplinary community of researchers; develop strategic partnerships with leading universities, governments, foundations, and industry partners; and strengthen the Lab's ability to attract significant external research funding and investment. The successful candidate will also play a key role in translating research into practice, contributing to educational transformation through policy influence, technology transfer, and scalable solutions with real-world impact.
The successful candidate will be a globally recognized scholar-practitioner with a record of advancing educational innovation through impactful research, leadership, and partnership. They will have successfully built, led, and scaled a research centre, institute, laboratory, or comparable enterprise, demonstrating the ability to attract exceptional talent, secure significant external funding, and translate research into meaningful educational and societal impact. Candidates will bring an internationally respected scholarly profile, a deep understanding of the forces reshaping higher education, and the credibility to engage with leading universities, governments, foundations, and industry partners around the world.
