Aalborg University now invites applications for a permanent Professorship in Circular Transitions and Resilience, based at its Copenhagen campus. This is an opportunity for an accomplished, international researcher who combines intellectual distinction with the interpersonal qualities needed to thrive in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment. The ideal candidate will bring substantial international research experience and a background in engineering, the natural sciences, or the social sciences, backed by deep applied expertise in infrastructure, energy, mobility, or urban systems, and will establish a research programme that bridges the department’s existing strengths with the autonomy, institutional backing, and resources needed to build something lasting.
