Aalborg University invites applications for a Professorship in Innovation in Computer Science, based at its Aalborg campus. Initially, the position is guaranteed for three years, with the possibility of becoming permanent. This appointment is part of a strategic initiative by the Dean of the Technical Faculty of IT and Design to strengthen international research capacity and introduce new, complementary expertise into the Department of Computer Science.   


The ideal candidate will be an accomplished international researcher who combines intellectual distinction with the interpersonal qualities needed to thrive in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment, with a strong academic track record in computer science that includes a solid publication record in high-impact computer science journals and a proven history of translating research into tangible innovation. 


The successful candidate will be embedded in one of Denmark’s most active computer science research environments and given the mandate and the resources to make a real difference.
